Instructions

Make the Rice

  • Wash the rice thoroughly under running water until water comes clear.
  • Leave the rice to drain in a colander for ten minutes.
  • Cook the rice with the water in a rice cooker.
  • After the rice is cooked, mix in the rice vinegar mixture and set aside for use.

Colour the Rice

Mold the Rice

  • Take a piece of cling wrap, place it on your palm, scoop 2-3 tbsp of white rice and squeeze tight to mould into the shape of the ghost. Set aside.
  • Take a piece of cling wrap, place it on your palm, scoop 2-3 tbsp of orange rice and squeeze tight to mould into the shape of the pumpkin. Set aside.
  • Use the seaweed to cut out the facial expressions for the pumpkin lantern and cute ghost. Use a tiny straw to poke into the ham for the cute ghost blushes.
  • To make the Frankenstein and pumpkin sushi, use the colored rice to make the sushi roll. Repeat the step 1-3.
  • Decorate the plate with the garnishes.

Sushi Roll

  • Take the piece of sushi mat, place the seaweed on the mat and spread sushi rice evenly over the mat.
