Snoopy & Friends Cute Bento

Making food cuter to eat might not requires as much time as you think. All you need to do is to stick a few pieces of cut out seaweed on the sushi rice ball to make this Snoopy design bento.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Japanese Shortgrain Rice
  • 1 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Japanese Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Snoopy & Charlie Brown Rice Ball

  • 1 cup Cooked Sushi Rice mix with 1 tbsp light soy sauce to make Charlie Brown
  • 1 piece Seaweed
  • 1 bunch Broccoli for decoration
  • 1 qty Corn for decoration
  • Other Veggies for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Wash and cook rice with water in a rice cooker. Mix with the sushi vinegar (vinegar, sugar and salt) mix in with the warm rice. Set aside to cool.
  • Take a piece of cling wrap to and put it on your palm. Scoop 2 tbsp rice and wrap tightly into round ball. Mould into shape of Snoopy. Set aside
  • Mix a tablespoon of soy sauce to the white sushi rice to make Charlie Brown rice ball. Take a piece of cling wrap to and put it on your palm. Scoop 2 tbsp rice and wrap tightly into round ball and pinch the sides to make his ears. Set aside
  • Cut out the facial expressions with the Japanese seaweed. Place the facial parts onto the rice balls.
  • Arrange Snoopy and Charlie Brown on a bento box and decorate with your favourite sides and veggies!
