Hawaiian pizza is simple and classic, a favourite flavour to order in a typical american pizza house. It is topped with very basic ingredients such as pineapple and ham with a tomato base. With the name itself, hawaiian pizza, many thought it orignated from the beach paradise, Hawaii, which is well known for its local fruits, pineapple. But no! Putting pineapple on pizza originated in the small town of Chatham, Ontario, Canada!
Dissolve the sugar in the water with instant yeast and let it sit for about 10 -15 minutes until the yeast activates.
Salt your flour, and slowly combine the “yeast solution” into your flour and knead it until smooth and elastic.
Oil a large mixing bowl, and place your dough and wrap with cling film with a few holes for it the 'breathe' also making sure there is space for the dough to rise.
Proof the dough by leaving it in a body temp and moist place. This will take anywhere from 20 - 45 minnutes.
When proof complete, take it out, dust a work surface and divide into two. Roll out the dough into circles.
Let it reproof slightly for another 15 mins. Knock it down again: the dough is ready to be cooked.
Make your pizza
Using your pre-prepared pizza, lather the first layer with you tomato sauce.
Add your toppings of ham, garlic, onions & pineapples before topping it off with cheese.
Drizzle some olive oil on the top.
Cook in a preheated 220 DegC Oven for about 10 mins or until cheese is golden and dough is cooked.

Use canned pineapple as fresh ones might be too hard for biting
